UPWARD SOCCER 2026

Upward Soccer is for athletes age 4 (as of 9/1/26) through 5th grade.

Registration:

Online registration opens on June 1 and will remain open until the first game on September 11.

Onsite registration and evaluations will be July 25, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., at Providence United Methodist Church.

  • 4 year old & Kindergarten Boys/Girls, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
  • 1st & 2nd grade Boys/Girls, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
  • 3rd through 5th grade Boys/Girls, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Practices:

Practice will be held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The first practice will be held September 1, or September 3, depending on the child’s team.

Games:

Games will be held on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m.

The games begin September 19 and end on November 7.

Upward Soccer is a fun way to introduce kids to Jesus Christ while learning values such as sportsmanship, respect, integrity, and teamwork.  The games are played on the fields behind the church on Saturday mornings.

Upward Sunday:  Upward Sunday is planned for this fall.  Parents and players are celebrated by the congregation during church service.

Forms and Fees:

  • Early registration fee is $85 per child.
  • Registration increases to $95 after July 31, 2026
  • Deadline for registration is September 12.
  • Register online or drop off your form and registration fee at the church office, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
  • Soccer shorts are optional at a cost of $15.
  • Cleats are recommended.
