Leader: If Christ is in you, the Spirit is your life because of God’s righteousness.
People: But the body is dead because of sin.
Leader: If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you,
People: The one who raised Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal body also
ALL: through the Spirit that lives in you.

Almighty and loving God, we come with thanksgiving in our hearts. Open us to the power of Your loving Spirit that we may be filled with Your power to forgive others as You have forgiven us through the crucifixion of your Son, our Savior. Amen.
