Great Ideas for Family Time
- Family dinner at the table, no TV, just conversation!
- Cook a meal together that is special to one person in the family.
- Draw names for a secret pal.
- Keep Christmas cards and pray over one each day.
- Have weekly family meetings to discuss the week, give compliments, air grievances, plan meals, discuss problems and brainstorm solutions.
- Spend time with grandchildren sharing new skills like sewing.
- Share “highs” and “lows.”
- Serve together for Thanksgiving or Christmas at the Salvation Army.
- Talk about Sunday School lessons.
- Choose a secret destination and go for a drive.
- Take a trip to Krispy Kreme to watch the donuts come down the line and enjoy warm donuts and coffee and milk.
