WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS

GREETING

Jesus said: “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.”
Let us act justly.
“I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing.”
Let us love tenderly.
I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”
Let us walk humbly with our God.
May we see Christ in one another,
that we may be healers and peacemakers in Christ’s name.

OPENING PRAYER

Morning by morning, you awaken us O God.  Day by day you show us your wondrous love.  The words of your commandments fall fresh upon our ears; we heed your wisdom and are renewed by your Word.  You surround us with countless acts that tell of your majesty.  We are struck by your goodness as we are refreshed in your Spirit.  Come and dwell among us and through us Christ let us praise you.  You are God whom we worship and adore.  Amen.
