Call to Worship
Leader: For it is God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness”, who has shone in our hearts.
People: to give light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Leader: Come, let us walk in the light of the Lord.
People: That He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths.
Opening Prayer – (Unison) – God, Like a baker-woman, you bring the leaven which causes our hopes to rise. With your strong and gentle hands, shape our lives. Warm us with your love. Take our common lives and touch them with your grace, that we may nourish hope throughout humanity. This we pray in the Holy name of Jesus. Amen
