P: With all our heart, we take refuge in Christ, the redeemer from sin, who restores our true nature, the perfect and mysterious Word.
ALL: With all our heart, we take refuge in the one who embraces the universe, who at all times and in all places responds to our needs, the pure and powerful Holy Spirit.
Opening Prayer – (Unison) O God, in mystery and silence you are present in our lives, bringing new life out of destruction and death, hope out of despair, growth out of difficulty. We thank you that you do not leave us alone but labor to make us whole. Help us to perceive your unseen hand as our lives unfold, for it is in you Father, Son and Holy Spirit that we place our trust. Amen.
