Upward Soccer

 Upward Soccer is for athletes age 4 (as of 9/1/21) through 5th grade.

Registration:

Online Registration opens on June 1st, and will remain open until the first game on September 8th.

Onsite registration and evaluations will be July 28th, between 9 a.m. an 12 p.m., at Providence United Methodist Church.

  • 4 year old & Kindergarten Boys/Girls, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
  • 1st & 2nd grade Boys/Girls,      between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
  • 3rd through 5th grade Boys/Girls, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Practices:

Practice will be held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The first practice will be held August 21, or August 23 depending on the child’s team.

Games:

Games will be held on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m.

The games begin September 11th and end on October 30th.

 
Upward Soccer is a fun way to introduce kids to Jesus Christ while learning values such as sportsmanship, respect, integrity, and teamwork.  The games are played on the fields behind the church on Saturday mornings.
Upward Sunday: Oct. 31, Parents and players are celebrated by the congregation during church service, and afterward in the Social Hall (11am-1pm).

Forms and Fees:

  • Early registration fee is $75 per child.  After August 30, the cost is $80 per child.
  • Deadline for registration is September 8th.
  • Register online or drop off your form and registration fee at the church office, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
  • Soccer shorts are optional at a cost of $15.
  • Cleats are recommended.
