Couples who bring out the best in each other build security and trust in their relationship. Your spouse needs things that only you can give. By learning what these are, and how to give them, you can bring fresh life into your marriage. Both of you will discover how to lift each other up and cheer each other on.

Lenten Study

Journey to Hope will focus on selected passages from the Book of Mark. A weekly study held during the six weeks of Lent will be offered on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and on Fridays at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mary Beth will be leading the class in the Library.

Themes from Mark will focus on how faith in Christ is relevant for real life circumstances and will include: money, relationships, work, suffering, temptation and identity. Sign up on the clipboard at Sunday services or by contacting the church office at 276-4289.

Ash Wednesday is the traditional beginning of Lent, a time of personal self-reflection and thinking about Jesus’ journey to the cross. On Wednesday, February 22, we will observe this holy day with a service at 6:30 p.m. The service will include the imposition of ashes as a sign of our mortality and our repentance.

Mission for Youth and Kids

All children in the church are invited to a new kind of group. We are having all the children and youth together to explore areas of mission in our church and around the world. Each week we will have a different mission focus with different speakers, activities and hands on mission work. Older youth will help younger children as each learns where God is leading them to make a difference in the world. Topics and activities would include:therapy dogs, hunger and food backpacks, homelessness, and more. This group will meet in room 309 begin January 11 through February 14 from 6:30 to 7:30pm.
