Saturday, April 18, City Singers Youth Choirs will be performing in our sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. City Singers is based in Richmond and performs the highest caliber of distinguished youth choral music from the body of classical, traditional, and modern compositions from around the world. Their mission is to inspire the highest level of artistic choral performance while bringing together youth of the greater Richmond area in a joyful appreciation of their ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity. City Singers is committed to making the choral education experience available to qualified singers regardless of their economic situations.
Now in their 18th season, City Singers Youth Choirs consist of four performing vocal groups:
- City Singers Advanced Choir
- Young Women’s Choir
- Young Men’s Choir (for 6-12 graders)
- Neighborhood Singers (for 2-5 graders)
City Singers Youth Choirs have been bringing Richmond area youth together through song since 1996.
They believe in the power of song to give a voice to every child, build bridges in our communities and inspire music and life skills mastery. Please come out to support a local organization directed by Leslie Dripps, Mara Smith, and accompanied by our very own Margaret Taylor.
